Last week I popped along to the Sanderson for the launch of Tanya Burr’s Lips & Nails collection.

Tanya Burr, for those who don’t know (been living under a rock?!), is the top beauty and lifestyle vlogger with over 6 million viewers a month rivaling some of the really established top online sites.

Tanya trained as a make up artist for Laura Mercier and set up her popular blog and youtube channel where she gives makeup tutorials and style guidance. Last week she launched her very own cosmetic/nail polish collection.

The event was buzzing with excited guests and the low lighting ensured the products glowed from their plinths. We were gifted with a goodie bag filled with treats from the range.

This included 2x lipglosses (Picnic in the Park, Champagne Toast) and 2x nail polishes (Midnight Sparkles, Peaches & Cream)

If I’m honest I wasn’t wowed by the packaging, however do not let that put you off. The lip glosses are fantastic, I’m not normally a gloss fan (I tend to opt more for lipsticks) however these are the first lip glosses I have tried that I feel comfortable wearing.

They claim to be ‘super moisturising’ and that’s exactly what they are, rather than the usual gloopy, sticky texture these feel light and nourishing. The quality of these products really does showcase Tanya’s knowledge of makeup.  Oh and they smell delicious!

I do, however, like the square nail polish packaging, I tried out the Midnight Sparkles polish which has a subtle shimmer to it, gotta love a shimmer polish.

The lip glosses are £6.99 each and ranges from nudes, soft pinks to bright reds.

The nail polishes are £5.99 each and include pretty duck egg and pale pinks shades as well as more glamorous reds and deep purples.
