The point I am, so subtly, making is the festive season is here and what better way to spend a weekend than visiting pretty Christmas markets in an exciting new city.

No I am not being sarcastic, I am genuinely happy about this because that means it is that time of the year for London to go ice-skating mad!

Last weekend I headed to Colombia Road to check out the flower market and then on to the Tower of London.
As you may already know I am a big fan of travelling, but this doesn’t just cover long exotic trips abroad it can be anything from a mini trip to somewhere in Europe or even a weekend break somewhere quaint in the UK.
It is important to take some time out from the London buzz and the UK is full of amazing hotels and cute villages.
A few months ago I was lucky enough to receive a Liberty Gift Coin – presented in a black coin bag and purple Liberty box, if anything I was hesitant to part with it…
…however, the time came to spend a penny and with Christmas on it’s way what better time to take a trip to Liberty.
For those of you who are feeling suffocated in London take a trip down the M40 to Marlow for some lazy swan gazing and afternoon treats…
