Healthy: The Basics

I’ve decided to get healthy.

And not in a ‘well I did have some lettuce in that burger’ type healthy, I mean actually healthy.


So where to start, do I go for the Alkaline Diet, the Paleo Diet, shall I colour coordinate my vegetables, only drink soups upside down?!

No, I am simply going to eat and drink smart, combine that with a mix of regular cardio and toning weight sessions and I should be feeling (and lets hope looking) great in no time.

Let’s start with the basics, and what is more basic than water.

Anyone who knows me, knows my real love affair with water. It is refreshing, helps to aid your digestion and rid your body of toxins. I like to drink water regularly throughout the day but due to my out and about type job a lot of the time I find myself dehydrated.

The BRITA Fill&Go bottles are an easy way to make sure you’re always hydrated no matter where you are. It’s great as it can be filled up at any tap and the filter disk will reduce the levels of impurities and chlorine, leaving you with fresh tasting water.

I have had to get used to the suction technique as the water doesn’t flow easily through the mouthpiece but once you get the hang of it it’s a doddle.
