Christmas Shopping: Liberty of London

A few months ago I was lucky enough to receive a Liberty Gift Coin – presented in a black coin bag and purple Liberty box, if anything I was hesitant to part with it…

…however, the time came to spend a penny and with Christmas on it’s way what better time to take a trip to Liberty.

I love walking around Liberty’s, so much to look at, and even though it was crazy busy I didn’t mind, I just went with the flow…literally it was as though I was in a sea of people moving with the tide.

If you keep your eyes open when you walk around you find some great, little characters…

My favourite item was this genius ‘Tube Wringer’: I think we have all been there when we are desperate to use up every last drop of our favourite hand cream but can’t quite get the rest out the tube. Some resort to cutting the tube and scooping out the remainder but this is a much better technique!

To visit the store and see the above for yourself head to Great Marlborough Street, London W1B 5AH and to see behind the scenes check out the Channel 4 show ‘Liberty of London’ 9pm Monday.

What is your favourite London department store?
